Description

If English is not your first language, join one of our ESOL courses - English for Speakers of Other Languages. Classes are available for all levels. You will improve your reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Learn vocabulary about shopping and health, learn about living and working in the UK. Be more confident - talk to your neighbours, help your children with homework, go shopping, apply for jobs and move on to other courses. You will come to college 2 or 3 times each week . Classes last 2 or 3 hours and there are classes in the morning, afternoon or evening. Morning and afternoon classes start and finish so you can still take children to school and collect them. ESOL is free if you are an asylum seeker, unemployed or earn less than £25,000 each year. You will need to attend a skills scan to make sure you join the best class for you.. Beginners who do not speak, read or write English are welcome. To book an appointment , call 01375 372476 or email tacc@thurrock.gov.uk
